I'm Bill from RI. I recently acquired a Bandit/Bandito HP rig from Ray G also in RI. I also have a Moto Guzzi with an Escort sidecar for 3 years.
The old rig is way different than the hp one. Does anyone know how many of the Bandit/Bandito rigs were built?
thanks,

Bill,
Welcome
(just what we need, more yankies named Bill )
I don't know how many Banditos were made but I'm sure one of the other Bills up there does.

Welcome to the forum and welcome to the world of HP Sidecars. I know you'll love riding that Bandito rig.

Don't know how many were built, but I've got one of them here in upstate NY. I've seen pictures of 3 of them together, but certainly more were built - seems as though I've heard something like about a dozen, but not sure about that.
I think the silver one in the middle is mine, although that picture was taken before I bought it.
Your toybox (aka "garage") sounds sort of similar to mine - I also have a couple of Guzzis and "some BMWs".

It's spelled Yankees - with 2 e's and a capital Y, Mike. _________________ David D

Thanks for the welcome. I think almost everyone up in this part of the country is named Bill. It's simple, easy to spell, easy to remember and everyone knows who you're talking about.
I like driving the (new to me) rig. My other bikes have seen little use since I got this unit.
Nice pic, three of them together. Mine is blue like the one shown but I don't think that one is mine, No Hannigan label on the nose.
