Anyone ever see a rig based on a Yamaha YZF750R? Any comments on the engine suitability? I understnd they have a fairly peaky powerband? _________________ Claude Stanley

REALLY peaky - as in zero power below about 8K rpm. Also not the most robust clutch. Also one of the classic Yamaha aluminum spar frames. All in all, pretty much the worst sidecar bike I could think of.
On the bright side - if you had an original 750R in good condition, you could sell it to a collector and buy a new Bandito |
