Hello All. My name is Steve and live in Victoria down under, I love motorcycling and when our family grew I purchased an old GSX1100 with Premier sidecar, two boys in the sidecar and the partner on behind. I stumbled on this great website and forum one night and became a little dissatisfied with my rig. I have purchased a ZRX1200 to put the sidecar onto and shipped out some goodies to help with a CHS fabrication. My other rides are a Buell S3 and KTM640. Once again great website and forum.[/img] |

Steve,
If you get stuck in building the rig, there are some people here who are more than quaified to help.
Just ask, no matter how trivial you may think it is, I've asked some silly questions in my time.
I think some of them just live to solve problems
What colour are you thinking of having the sidecar ?

Hi Bill and Keith, thanks for the welcome. Bill I am working on the photos, I'm no expert on these computers, I have a young guy milks the cows Wednesday afternoons, he is switched on with computers I will ask him for some help. Keith, I agree, I've found this forum to have some good reading and very helpfull. Dont Merlin Sidecars make some great looking outfits. My Kawasaki ZRX is painted in a candy apple red with some custom work on the tank, so I hope to match the sidecar to that hopefully.
Thanks Guys

Have you seen the Kawasaki Merlin outfit, it looks like it should be racing.
You sound like your going to have a great looking outfit, so you better get some pictures up

Thanks for the welcome docmike, one of the first things I did when I found the hpsidecar site was read your write up on the CHS projecton on your BMW, very enjoyable and a great job.
Thanks

Hi Thespis
West Aus is one place I'd like to check out one day, always imagined there to be some good riding south of Perth. There is a few pics of our old outfit and the bike I hope to hook the chair onto one day in the photo section of the forum. I had the name of a place that sells clevis joints but can't seem to lay my hands on it, I'll keep looking. Good luck with your project, should look good on the FZ1. |
